Another open-air concert in the Magnolia cloister

UPDATE: Bad weather has caused the concert to be moved to an indoor location at the Teatro del Verme in Via San Giovanni sul Muro 2.

Voilinists Fatlinda Thaci, Mario Roncuzzi, Alberto Berera and Elsa Righetti will give the next open-air concert under the headline “I pomeriggi alle Stelline”, offered by Milan’s Fondazione Stelline, on Saturday 28 June. The concert will be accompanied by Luca Maggioni on the viola, Marco Paolini on the ‘cello, Paolo Speziale on the bass, Francesco Quaranta on the oboe and Chiara Nicora at the harpsichord.

Saturday’s programme includes Johann Sebastian Bach’s violin concerto in E major, BWV 1042, his concerto for violin and oboe in D minor, BWV 1060, and the concerto for two violins in D minor, BWV 1043. The concert will be held in the delightful setting of the Magnolia Cloister of the Palazzo delle Stelline.

Ticket holders will be able to stay on for the happy hour aperitifs in the Orti di Leonardo with a 25 per cent discount, open until 20.00. Tickets from TicketOne or at the box office from 16.00. Concert begins at 17.00.  Venue
