20 September-27 October 2012. MiCamera hosts a series of black and white prints by the Dutch photographer Machiel Botman.
His images, which mix autobiographic fragments, are taken from the book One Tree. The subjects are architectures in ruins, animals and people, who seem suspended in rarefied, dreamlike and disorienting atmospheres. His figures are a ghostly blur or a half-seen reflection and landscapes dissolve and shatter. A chair floats before a building façade and a white horse is superimposed on the view of a distant house on a hill.
