Open-air movies return to Milan

6 June-15 Sept. The annual Arianteo programme.

The arrival of warm summer evenings is bringing back Milan’s popular Arianteo programme of open-air screenings in five locations across the city until 15 September.

Details of the full programme will be available from 5 June on the Arianteo website.

Screenings will be in the Chiostro dell’Incoronata in Via Milazzo 9 (two screens with wireless headsets and numbered places), in the modern CityLife residential zone, in the Royal Palace courtyard, in the Conservatory in Via Conservatorio and at UmanitAria in Via Francesco Daverio, a stone’s throw from the Duomo.

Entry costs €7.50 with concessions at €5.50 and for members of “Amici del Cinema” association €4.50; a season-ticket for 10 movies costs €39.00.

And from 4 July, Milan Conservatory will offer frequent evening concerts preceding the movies, with tickets available for one or the other or both events of the evening.

Open-air screenings in the Arianteo project will also be held in the Villa Ghirlanda in Cinisello Balsamo and in the park of the royal palace in Monza; details on the same website.
