Open Art!

19 May-14 June 2012. The colourful Skira Temporary Bookshop, located inside Museo della Permanente, organizes a rich programme of encounters and public discussions with art experts and important authors, who published their books with the publishing house Skira.

Among these authors are Francesca Alfano Miglietti, Franco Bolelli, Mario Botta, Andrea Branzi, Maria Vittoria Capitanucci, Cristina Cappa-Legora, Alba Cappellieri, Marco Carminati, Ilaria Danieli, Francesco de Agostini, Enzo Gentile, Vittorio Gregotti, Flaminio Gualdoni, Pietro C. Marani, Luca Molinari, Costantino Papadimitriou, Fabio Schiavo, Valerio Terraroli and Giacomo Veronesi, who will discuss with the public about the most diverse topics, ranging from architecture to jewels and music.

On weekends there will be also some workshops for kids aged six to 12, which will focus on personalities and movements, which have influenced Italian history of art, such as Leonardo da Vinci, the famous Milanese artistic phenomena of Arcimboldo and Futurism. On 14 June there will be a special “lesson on comics”.
