Saturday night at the Museum in Milan

Around 40 museums and archaeological sites across Italy will be open on the last Saturday night of every month from 20.00 until 24.00, until 28 December.

The most recent editon of Una Notte al Museo on 28 September attracted over 40,000 visitors, according to the culture ministry which is behind the initiative.

A highlight in Milan is the late opening of the Pinacoteca di Brera, including access to the exhibition Seicento lombardo a Brera. Capolavori e riscoperte (open until 12 Jan), and accompanied by a concert of classical music by Schumann, Chopin, Brahms, Prokof'ev performed by pianist Francesco Granata.
