Schubert's operas, which have often been neglected, were given a new lease of life by the late Claudio Abbado. This is Peter Stein's production for the 2014 Salzburg festival which returns to the Austrian festival again this summer. Anett Fritsch sings the role of Emma and Bernard Richter that of Fierrabras.
