Open air movies, seven with a concert
A full programme of cinema in Milan by Arianteo again this summer, in the usual three locations: in the courtyard of the Palazzo Reale, in the Wisteria cloister of the Umanitaria in Via S. Barnaba 48, and the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory, in Via Conservatorio.
On seven of the movie evenings at the Palazzo Reale, there will be a concert first, with classical music chosen to match the film to follow. While the films at the Palazzo Reale and Umanitaria will be shown, as every summer, in the open air, those at the conservatory have been moved inside this year because of work preparing the cloister for next year’s programme in collaboration with Expo 2015.
The evenings at the conservatory will include an optional aperitif.
Full-price tickets at the Umanitaria cost €6.50 (senior citizens €5), while for real enthusiasts there are 10-ticket subscriptions at €38. At the conservatory, an aperitif and the concert costs €6.00, while the aperitif, concert and film cost €8.00. At Palazzo Reale, the concert costs €5.00, and the concert and film €8.00.
