The Milan I like

Guide to quality events in the city

The developers of smart-phone app Milanochemipiace (the Milan I like) have organised a week of meetings and demos to present the secret places and most interesting events in the city, aimed not just at tourists and visitors but also at milanesi to help them know their hometown better.

It is designed for short-term tourists who want to go straight to the heart of Milan, business travelers who visit the city often and have already tried the usual guides, scatter-brained residents who stopped looking around them or who simply want to see the city from a different point of view.

From 22 September, an info point will be staffed from 10.00 to 20.00 at Expo Gate’s Spazio Garibaldi, next to the Sforzesco castle, to provide advice and suggestions for discovering all the best the city has to offer. There will be a themed presentation at 18.00 each day of the week.

A bilingual app – in Italian and English – will be available at €3.59 for iPhones and Android devices from Monday 22 September from Apple App Store and Google Play Store, recommending places and events which have been personally tested and selected by the authors.
