Tickets for Townshend, Daltrey gig on sale on 6 May

19 Sept. 50th anniversary concert of The Who.

The concert isn’t until 19 September at Milan’s Mediolanum Forum, but tickets for the Italy leg of The Who Hits 50! tour, which started in 2014, are likely to be snapped up as soon as they go on sale on Friday 6 May.

Founding members of one of the most influential rock bands of the 20th century, singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend launched The Who in 1964 together with drummer Keith Moon and bass guitarist John Entwistle, who died in 1978 and 2002 respectively. The surviving artists continued to play and record as The Who.

If tickets for the Milan gig are sold out, fans might still be lucky and find tickets for a concert two days earlier, on 17 September, in Bologna.

Prices have not yet been specified on the sites which will start sales at 10.00 on 6 May: TicketOne and Live Nation.
