Two Gospel concerts in Milan

US Gospel choirs sing in Milan.

Carols and other traditional songs in the unmistakable harmonies of the Gospel genre will ring out in Milan on Christmas week.

First, on Monday 21 December, the Virginia State Gospel Chorale will stop off in the city along their European tour. The choir of 35 members has won numerous awards, including most recently the top spot as “Best Gospel choir” in the annual Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards contest in Atlanta, Georgia, last August.

The concert starts at 21.00 in the Barclays Teatro Nationale at Porta Magenta. Tickets from €25 at the box office or pre-booked online.

On the following evening, the South Carolina Gospel Singers from Charleston, SC, also on a European tour, will offer traditional Christian music, revisited with good taste and creativity in key with contemporary tendencies. This travelling sub-group of the main choir numbers five vocalists with bass, drums and keyboards.

The concert begins at 21.00 in the Teatro Galleria in Piazza San Marco, Legnano. Tickets from €24, info and booking at TicketOne.
