Westminster Cathedral Choir sings in Milan

9 July. The Westminster Cathedral Choir, Britain’s leading Catholic choir and arguably the most famous in the world, will sing a concert of works by Bach, Purcell, Britten, Schubert and Holst, among others, in Milan on Thursday evening 9 July.

In the splendid setting of the Basilica of S. Maria della Passione, the city’s second-largest church, the choir under the baton of Martin Baker will present a concert titled Litanies à la Vierge Noire. The concert is part of the international programme of ancient music in Milan entitled Milano Arte Musica, which lasts until 28 August.
