25-27 May. Three days in Milan dedicated to innovation.
The sixth edition of Wired Next Fest opens on Friday morning 25 May, bringing a star-studded programme of exceptional speakers from around the world to examine innovation in all its aspects in Milan’s Montanelli Gardens.
Among this year’s speakers will be US whistle-blower Chelsea Manning, Mozilla co-founder Mitchell Baker, AI expert Kate Crawford, TV chef Carlo Cracco, singer-songwriter Motta, WikiTribune cofounder Orit Kopel, former Italian Chamber speaker Laura Boldrini, La Scala conductor Riccardo Chailly and many, many more.
Three days of free lectures and debates with literally scores of Italian and international personalities will discuss how to change the world, from science to economy, from culture to technology.
Gender equality, humanoid robot programming, financing a start-up, personal shoppers, YouTube satire, transmedia story-telling… the choice is vast, the programme eclectic. And when your head is spinning with the onslaught of new ideas, you can get some respite in the video gaming world of Overwatch or enjoy some virtual reality in the Escape Room, or simply relax at one of the nine concerts.
Entry to the events is without charge, but free registration on the event website is obligatory.
