The grand hotel et de Milan is one of the city's finest hotels Milanese residence for high society since its opening back in 1863. the hotels stands in via Manzoni one of Milan’s main radial roads right in the centre of the city next to via Montenapoleone and via della Spiga famous for its shopping . The most illustrious of these was Giuseppe verdi who from 1872 chose the grand hotel et de Milan as his residence. he also died here in the apartment nox dedicated to him on January 27th 1901. In 1993 a renovation for conservation was needed to restore the monumental parts and make the necessary technological adjustments to recreate the original splendour of the grand hotel et de Milan.
