Leonardo's horse

A 15- ton equestrian statue commissioned in 1482, and completed 500 years later, this masterpiece designed by Leonardo da Vinci can be found perched on a white Carrera marble pedestal in the park in front of the Hippodrome of Milan.  The rich histroy of this work details the technological and artisitc talents of Leonardo, although it was never completed in his lifetime.
