Museo Studio Francesco Messina

The museum of sicilian sculptor Francesco Messina is located within the unconsecrated San Sisto church, and was once the site of his studio.  One of Italy's leading artists of the twentieth century, Messina is known for his statue of Pope Pius XII in St. Peter's Basilica, and for a large bronze horse displayed at the headquarters of RAI.
