Housed within 16 halls of Palazzo Moriggia, built in 1776 by Giuseppe Piermarini, this museum is dedicated to the history of Italy's struggle for independance. Notably, the cane, sceptre and cape worn by Napoleon on the day he was crowned King of Italy in 1805 are on exhibit.
