Osservatorio di Brera

The Brera Observatory is located in the heart of Milan.  It has been a site of significant scientific research and houses a collection of scientific instruments, including the Merz telescope, from which noted Italian scientist Schiaparelli observed Mars in the late 1800s.  Entry is free.
